Irish Course

CONTESTANTS:

• Team consists of:
     Father/Son
     Father-in-Law/Son-in-Law
     Stepfather/Stepson
     Grandfather/Grandson
     Father/Daughter Division

• Fathers may bring their daughters and compete in their own special division of the tournament

• A father may bring more than one son or daughter and compete in both divisions

LODGING:

Accommodations are at the The American Club, The Midwest only AAA Five Diamond Resort Hotel .  

INCLUDED IN COST:  

• Four (4) nights accommodations, double occupancy, at The American Club
• Hotel taxes and gratuities.
• Breakfast daily.
• Green fees for three (3) tournament rounds.
• Caddy fees on the Straits and Irish Courses (Gratuities extra)

COST: 

• Contestant sharing room: $2795.00
• Contestant in single room: $3650.00
• Contestant w/non-golfer: $4190.00 *  

**Included in the guest fee is hotel accommodations, double occupancy, breakfast daily, Welcome Reception and Awards Cocktail Party and Banquet .

GOLF COURSES:

• The Straits Course at Whistling Straits, site of the 2004 PGA Championship and the 2007 U.S.G.A. Senior Open. This course is a Walking Only course
• The Irish Course at Whistling Straits designed by Pete Dye and has the look and feel of an Irish Links Course. This course is a Walking Only course
• The River Course at Blackwolf Run site of the 1998 U. S. Womens Open

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: 

• Field limited to first 35 teams with completed entry form and deposit of $500.00 per amateur/guest.
• Tournament will close once field is full. If field is not full entries will be accepted until June 1st.

EARLY ARRIVALS AND LATE DEPARTURES:
Upon entering the tournament a Special Request Form will be sent to you should you wish to arrive at the hotel early/depart late. This form should be filled out and faxed to our Tournament Office at (570) 476-7517.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

• Deposits will be refunded in full 60 days prior to event.
• In the event of a cancellation 59 days prior to the event, no refunds will be issued.
• No refunds for unused services.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: 

• 54 Hole One Best Ball in a Net Division with amateurs competing at 80% of their current handicap with a maximum of 18 strokes.
• 54 Hole One Best Ball event in a Gross Division with all players competing at scratch.
• All amateurs must provide proof of handicap to compete in the Net Division.
• If a player has a handicap at more than one course they must use the lower handicap.

TEAM PRIZES:  

• Team prizes consist of crystal engraved with the tournament logo.
• Prizes are awarded in both Net and Gross Divisions.
• Overall winners plus flight winners

SUNDAY, AUGUST 3rd:
Arrive during the day at The American Club .

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Team Registration

7:00 PM: Welcome Reception at The American Club.
Dinner on your own.

MONDAY, AUGUST 4th: 

6:00 AM: Breakfast begins in the Wisconsin dining room.

8:00 AM: First round of the Cleveland Golf Father Son Team Classic begins.
Dinner on your own.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 5th:

6:00 AM: Breakfast begins in the Wisconsin dining room

8:00 AM: Second round of the Cleveland Golf Father Son Team Classic begins.
Dinner on your own.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6th:

6:00 AM: Breakfast begins in the Wisconsin dining room.

8:00 AM: Final round of the Cleveland Golf Father Son Team Classic begins.

7:00 PM: Awards Cocktail Party followed by the Awards Banquet.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 7th:

6:00 AM: Breakfast begins in the Wisconsin dining room

Depart for home after breakfast
